One of our new favorite songs is called you are the reason by Calum Scott.

Miss Bossy did a cover version of this song for youtube and it turned out really good.

If we could each eat six things guilt free this is what they would be:

Tristan Mackenzie would eat

Paddlepop fruit ice cream because who doesn’t love ice cream and fruit.

Mince vetkoek because I love vetkoek and the combination of mince and vetkoek is just perfect.

Pineapple pizza because it is just the best pizza in the world and yes pineapple does belong on a pizza.

Stir fry with noodles because it is an addiction I cannot get rid of.

Swiss roll because it is something that a lot of people love.

Peanut butter because in my opinion it is the best spread in Paddlepop fruit ice cream because who doesn’t love ice cream and fruit

French Fries. There is nothing better than a good French Fry.

Vetkoek Cheese and Chips. Verkoek is incredible and cheese and Chips just makes it better.

Our New Years Resolutions

A belated happy new year. We decided to do a video for our new year’s resolution. This year we would like to blog more and Vlog more. We will post more recipes and blogs. Tristan wants to do well at college and I am hoping to get a better job. We want 500 subscribers on YouTube and our blogs and a 1000 views. We will be going to Hirsch’s more.

Thanksgiving

Sadly we left Thanksgiving planning a little bit late this year as it is not something we celebrate in South Africa. Unfortunately we did not cook anything but we did sing a song. True Colors Cover Song

I decided to do True Colors by Cindy Lauper as my next song. The reason being I was sitting outside my house the one day singing it when I was rudely told by my Landladies boyfriend that I must shut up because he cannot hear the T.V because of my singing so naturally I continued singing it. I learnt the words even though it does not look like it but while we were filming I was rudely told by my neighbor to shut up. This obviously meant that we had to film again and so I was really angry. Anyway we continued singing and annoying her which was great fun but I also really like this song as I always tell my son you will see somebodies true colors eventually. You might still like them, you might not. Peoples True Colors will always show through.
